Swiss Post War & Contemporary artist Evi Kliemand is an author, painter and publicist born in 1946 — She has become famous for her well-known large scale paintings on canvas, which could be seen in sporadic extensive work exhibitions. In addition to her creativity as a painter, she’s been engaged in her poetical work right from the beginning, always in search of the adequate phrasing for natural events. Kliemand used Woodblock printing, a technique where an image is carved in reverse on a piece of wood, dipped in ink, and pressed onto a substance such as paper or fabric, leaving an eccentric texture. These works are printed on Fine Art, acid-free paper.
